Lake Blackshear to be lowered (Americus Times-Recorder)

The Crisp County Power Commission will lower Lake Blackshear this fall as it does every other year. The lake will be drawn down approximately 3.5 ft. below normal on a gradual basis starting Nov. 2 amd continuing through Dec. 15.
